What’s really keeping sellers up at night
The fear has shifted.
If you’ve thought about selling, the first question is usually:Ā what will we get for it?
That used to be the right question.
37% of sellers now say their biggest fear is time on market, up from 30% a few months ago.Ā
A lowball offer stings. But at least someone walked through the door.Ā

Havenāt seen this in 10 years
Last fall, 45,000 sellers threw up their hands.
āIf we canāt get the price we want, weāre taking our home off the market.ā
Now theyāre back.
I just read on CNBC that sellers are re-listing properties at the fastest pace in a decade.
What kind of spring season should they expect?
Hereās what we know so far:
1.Ā Rates are significantly lower than they were a year ago, hovering around ~6%
2. The right pricing strategy is critical, as buyers cautious about overspending
3. Last week we saw a 6.1% spike in people trying to buy a home (Trading Economics)
Weāll have a better idea in the coming weeks of what the spring will look like.
Iāll be tracking the data closely.
P.S. Even if youāre in the early stages of thinking about a move, we should talk. It might seem premature but my clients are always less stressed & better prepared the sooner we get the conversation started. š
